The Democratic Party has developed a website, Mobilize.us, that showcases volunteer events of all types. The website is used by candidates and committees searching for volunteers. You will find everything from petitioning to get out the vote activities. There are also a variety of issue-related groups (environmental, reproductive rights, tenant rights, etc.)
Next weekend, the Biden campaign announced a “Philadelphia Weekend of Action: Canvass Across the City” on June 22 and June 23. The campaign plans to knock doors in every ward in the city, including my ward, ward 55. If you would like to sign up, you may do so on the website. Signing up is easy, and they send you a reminder or two so that you do not forget.
